Over the River and Through the Woods at Pegasus Theater through May 22

Over the River and Through the Woods–written by Joe DiPietro and directed by Diana Grogg–runs through May 22. Friday and Saturday evening performances are at 8 p.m., and Sunday matinees are at 2 p.m. General admission is $20, except all Fridays starting with April 29 are pay-what-you-can.
Every Sunday, 33-year old Nick Cristano, a NYC marketing executive, dutifully takes the bus through the Holland Tunnel under the Hudson River and into (the not very woodsy) Hoboken, New Jersey, to eat dinner with his two sets of grandparents. So when he announces that he’s been offered a big promotion that requires him to move to Seattle, his grandparents are stunned he’d even consider moving so far away. But they quickly concoct a match-making scheme to keep him close. If only Nicky were married — had children! – then he too would embrace the values they most cherish: family, faith and food.
